Your Top Posts:
These are the posts that, dating back to the beginning of Shoulblog in 2010, have gathered the most page views, presented in order of popularity. For some reason, the internet seems to really like pictures of the Lewis & Clark statue on the St. Louis riverfront; the two posts with those pictures continue to rack up a few dozen hits every month or so, years after they were posted.

My Top Posts:
I have enjoyed writing everything I put up here, obviously, but these posts are, for whatever reason, the ones that mean the most to me. As you’ll see, most are about loved ones and family members, and each of them required a little extra care and time to get them just the way I wanted them. I hope you like them as well. Presented here in chronological order.
• One Vote — A long time ago, an election in my town was decided by that margin. And my name was on the ballot.
• (Avoiding) The Road To Provincetown — 23 years after my brother’s death, I return to his home.
• A Christmas Card — How we met.
• “You Are Welcome Here” — This post begins with a death and ends with (spoiler alert!) joy, but the journey is the most important thing.
• The Arch At Sunrise—Two of my favorite photographic subjects, combined.
• On Brotherly Love — Or at least brotherly competition.
• Two Easters, Far From Home—In this case, Provincetown and Prague.
• List: Top Five Story Songs — No. 1—The best songs can take on meanings far beyond what their authors intended.
• A Not So Fictional Character—Who remembers Mike Torrez?
• Back To The Pool—I gave up swimming after college. Decades later, I decided to give it another try.
• Kasha-Katuwe—A visit to a very cool spot in New Mexico.
• The Cardinals And The Cubs—Can’t we all just get along?
• The Singers—This is a story I don’t, can’t, and probably won’t ever, understand.
